UPDATE: The Thursdays thing at Tribecca is gonna start this week. They did an ad in the City Paper and some email shiznit so it's ON! I guess we will build it up as opposed to starting with a bang. So I am in the shop today, working all day....it's customer appreciation day as it is every wednesday....I dont understand but sheeesh, some people are ridiculous! We have callers calling to speak about their mctrance demos.... I politely say, no thank you.... or I even suggest that they send it but its not exactly our thing....and these people tell us their life's story!!!!!! KILLING US! Then the labels calling to track the sales of their top-40 smash hit McTrance act waste my time too. Someone gave me their name as the owner of 611 and they call thinking that I must be the one who orders, sells, and cares about their McTrance garbage hit that we are actually embarassed to even bring into the shop at all!~ UGH Sorry, I'm venting here...for the first time, possibly. Well, I am enjoying the day otherwise. The floor is mopped, bags are being put away displayed to sell sell sell, the ebay guru , Sean aka Poopy, is upstairs in the web office killing it selling super star DJ feces and old rare records. So, nothing to be too upset about. I just thought I would share a chuckle with you, the voyeuristic web surfer, as am I, who takes timee out of the busy schedule to do fun stuff like read my rants! WOOHOO and thank you! More laterzzzzzzz...... Oh, and by the way, why do they make CD's so hard to open? I feel like I am committing a crime when I try to open one. Grrrr... I nearly sliced my jugular vein today! OUCH! not funny, agreed.
Well, well.... haivng a good week...no, a great week. Sure, its been cold and snowy but I have had a lovely time regardless. mmm, wouldnt you like to know. he he. Anwyay, right now I am in Monterrey, Mexico...killing the time before I go to my marathon set gig. I am scheduled to play from 2-6am and these people here in Monterrey party hard! Ive played before for more than 6 hours! PHEW! What sucks is that i have a 1 pm flight! SO? Well, no sleep for me, really.... and now the gf preached the bad qualities of Red Bull, my fav vice... so its strictly bottled water down here...and maybe a lil orchetta (its SO SLAMMIN). Orchetta (prob spelled wrongly) is like rice milk and vanilla...mmm, so good. Anyway, not much else to report.
OH, musically, Im about to press two bootlegs. he he. Ill tell you about them soon but they may or may not contain New Order, Bryan Ferry, and ABC remakes. he he. Prob gonna be under the name ABE FROMAN that I used twice before.

Man, I had a nice weekend. Friday night, hung out with Dara, Jay M the MC and Rinaldo Jeraldo DONDO, the man, along with Circuit breaker and Meghan for a nice meal at the Dish, next to 611 Records. Good times. We discussed the joys and humor in sicko internet gross videos... u know the kind! LOLOL Anyway, its always fun to hang with Dara when he comes in town since he cut his smell y hair off....I have no prob sitting next to him any more. Also, he is really really old but thats cool.... its like a mercy hang out for a young chap like myself to roll with a shrivelled up old man like him. He can play some choons, though. Thats what I hear! Saturday, I gracefully cruised at 150mph to Providence, RI for a gig at the club called Metropolis. Sure enough, mother nature decided to hail (or is it hale) and snow but still there was a great vibe there. I played a lil over two hours and got to play a large variety. That was fun. People were into the harder shit late night. that was a pleasant surprise. Its been a few weeks that I have just been drinking a lil Red Bull, (legal coke) and water. I love it. It really feels better not to drink alcohol at gigs. I'm gonna roll like this for a while. Also, had an amazing Sunday with someone very special. Life has been good. Growing up, dealing with shit, and STAYING WARM! SHeeesh! When the hell will this shit weather end? LOLOL
