Ahhh, being on the west coast, in portland oregon to be exact, is nice. Dry air, pleasant clean city.... but TOO MUCH RED BULL! lolol. I played from about 1:15 am till 3:30 am ( that's a whopping 6:30 am my time) last night and had a few Red Bulls. I like them, they taste good and keep you up but sheesh. I got back to the hotel at the equivalent of my 7:00 am and I coudl barely sleep! Now I am awake at their 9:00 am, got about 4-5 hours, and I can't sit still. I think there is STILL some in my blood stream. So, I will go hit the hotel gym. Good for the body and the mind. Ta ta!

The heat is insane today. My room must be 94 degrees. I live on the top floor and my room is constantly heated by the black top roof. Good thing. I could always cook breakfast on my roof if my stove went bad. Anyway, my old big time AC unit is working but only intermittently. It decides to turn off and back on every now and then. It's fine at night but day time, phew dog! So, I may go buy a new one today. I'm running errands and excercising so while I'm out, I may drop the coinage. Oh, I'm uploading tons of gallery shit today to nigelrichards.com/gallery and 611records.com/gallery so do peep them out. Good times have been documented and must be shared. That's our mission . Outty! :)

Pretty cool day for me. I'm here in NYC on the Airport at the Apt, the hip lounge joint at 13th and 9th streets. Puma is showing their new line to buyers from all the big shops like Barneys, Bloomingdales, Macy's. Anyway, I'm here doing the music for a mini fashion show. I play music to 10 people at a time. It's easy. I play for 20 mins. Then hang out for 40. Not bad. Puma'd up, I be up in this beyatch! Anyway, I'm sure I'll add more the weblog or upload some pix later today to keep myself busy. We be up out!

I LOVE Usairways baggage services. We have become good friends. ONly 6 days after losing my luggage, what do you think they did this morning? Lost my luggage. That's right! Good times. BO&*! TER*#$! AN@#*AX! MUS@$$D G@S! These keywords come into my head when I start thinking of the loving feelings I have for them. I don't want an FBI file so I wont spell them out but you catch my drift, right? Well, I'm gonna enjoy the 80 degree weather her in Minneapolis and head to the Mall Of America for some fine American culture. It's really pretty cool and amazing. I recommend going there if you are in the hood. Today I play a big festival in WI and I am excited as I play before Felix Da Housecrotch and Pharcyde. Felix is a good friend and a really nice humble guy. I'm able to bust on him and jock him in the same sentence. Anyway, I'm sure he is gonna play some treats I am into so I can't wait. Then, its dinner (or breakfast) with Woody. Gonna be a nice day. Too bad I didn't get any sleep after the rocking Feelgood show at Tribecca. Oh well. I've chosen this path. More later!

well, well, FUCK USAIRWAYS! Second time this year they have lost my bags on a direct flight. This time, the best part is, it was a simple flight from the totally empty commuter terminal F out of Philadelphia to Montreal for my big gig at Aria. Now, there was another flight after mine but NOOOOOOOO, why would they make either flight? That would be asking the airline to be efficient. Nope. I checked in plenty early and made the mistake of considering they would be capable of handling the baggage. Now, after hours with all of their fancy bar codes and expensive baggage system in Philly, they have NO IDEA where they are! I bet $100 that they arrive in Montreal first thing in the AM which does me no good. GOOD TIMES! Off to someone's house in Montreal to find some goodies. :(

So I just posted a journal entry that I wrote earlier today. I was feeling good and groovy then. After that, I ended up meeting the designers and founder of Royal Elastics shoes/sneakers. I was psyched! We exchanged cards, gear, music, and I am promised a whole shipment of shoes. Word! I left them happy with a bunch of T shirts and CD's. Productive afternoon. They are going to bring their bling bling bus to Philly soon and I'm sure we will get involved over at 611. Now, I sit in the United Red Carpet club, feeling like death. Why, you ask? Well, Ive been jacked up on I dont know how many Red Bulls for the past few days, getting nominal sleep. I Now look forward to landing in Seattle, enjoying my nice W hotel room for 2 hours before heading to the gig only to return for a mere 90 min rest before heading to the airport. Here is the bad part. AFTER boarding my 6 am flight back to Philly, I then have a lovely THREE hour layover before heading to Kansas City only to return yet AGAIN on a 6 am flight. Then I will go to my gf's new house. I sure have to be pleasant. Any suggestions? How do you stay happy and not crabby on 4 hours sleep over a weekend? I've done it before but your suggestions will be fun so please send them to: gitsumsleepcrackhead@nigelrichards.com
