I am deep in the thick of it. DEEEEEP! Its that time again. Miami shmooz time! WMC/M3 Summit. It's on! Today, I woke up at 10:30 am after a long night of night cap after night cap ending at the Red Bull house... phew... thats a whole other entry... Anyway, I awoke with about 3 hours of sleep and did yoga on the beach with my good buddy from Chicago, house DJ Miles Maeda. Slammin! Honestly, I feel great righ tnow. So bizarro! No sleep... but a lil yoga goes a very long way! :) More later, including pix... if I can get a free minute..minute and a half:)
Yowza! I saw the crasiest thing on TV last night. There is a new show called Office starring the actor who plays Brick Tamlin in my new fav smart mouth line movie, Anchorman. While they were previewing a bit of the show, they said there would be some kind of preview action this week on MYSPACE.COM! Holy smokes! Thats sick! I met the myspace guys in SF at the Love Parade press jaun and they were very cool... I cant believe how monumental it has proven itself in that a major network will do a show preview to them, obviously reaching their tagert auience. Slammin for myspace. I bet that was a nice chunk fo change to them. :)
Gigs are looking yummy, yet there is a big hole in April. Hmm. Well, hopefully that will fill up soon. Going to Bulgaria right after WMC and I got the call yesterday that it looks like I will make it to Alaska for my third time this April or May! SLAMMIN! I love it up there! Might even go to the furthest northern point on Earth Day, the 22nd of April. Peace doood. Cumbayaaah! That will be very nice. The Chula hot springs are up there and its just so beautiful. I may also get to ski at Alyeska which is where I first learned to ski.... LAST WINTER! He he! :) Good times!
Last bit of news, my newest release for 611 is around the corner. Two, actually.... the record should drop around my b day, April 29, and the mixed CD should drop in June. Woot woot!
Well, well well. I guess one might say that I had a ling night last night. I guess it started getting strange when I got bitten in the head by my friend's 100 pound Italian Mastif. DOH! Thats right. You heard me. Ouch. That smarts. So here i sit, stitched up and throbbing. Not too good of a time but hey, perhaps my scars will give me virile character to my face! :)
wow, what a slammin night in detroit!~ good times. tonight, i have to admit that i am comfy having the night off... chill night. its good for me. hopefully ill lose the circles under the eyes! :) Bulgaria has confirmed! woot woot! I am so very excited to go there March 30! Yea buddy!
